Senior Account Executive
Overall Purpose of the Senior Account Executive Role:
To build positive, productive relationships with your clients, getting to know them as people as well as getting under the skin of their business. Present work fluently and confidently.
• Maintain an excellent grasp of all workflows on your account - inputs, outputs, purpose, status - and support the Senior AM in ensuring all tasks and campaigns are completed on time to a high standard. Proactively manage delays and other potential problems before they arise, escalate when needed to colleagues, and adapt quickly when things change.
• Schedule, coordinate and attend all meetings on your client patch. Maintain organised, accurate documentation of plans, trackers, reports and other resources, keeping meeting notes, sending follow ups and briefing out tasks and updates to colleagues and suppliers.
• Collaborate with our channel specialists, strategy, creative and data teams. Together with the SAM, BD and Activation teams, ensure media plans stay on-brief, on-strategy and on-budget, and with the wider team continually seek ways to make campaigns more efficient, innovative and effective.
• Use claimed and observed data tools, news and social media to research your clients markets, competitors and audiences, and produce clear, accurate and actionable reports to aid strategy and planning.
• Own the delivery of weekly/mid-flight campaign reports. Collate and QA reporting data from channel specialists and help ensure recommended optimisations are approved and followed through. Coordinate completion of PCAs/QBRs.
• Complete accurate, timely monthly billing and reconciliation on our finance systems, and keep client finance trackers up to date. Know the fee arrangements on your clients, and check documentation for correct financial information.
• Attend and contribute to idea generation sessions, using the industry knowledge you’ve acquired to date as well as your own observations of societal and cultural trends to assist strategic development and communications design.
• Liaise with the creative/production specialists - you know exactly which creatives have been delivered and when, and flag any potential delays with relevant stakeholders. You collate and share in situ campaign imagery and proof of posting.
• Make the most of training opportunities, working with your line manager to continually cement and expand your skill set, stay on track with industry-standard training, and be curious about learning new disciplines. Stay up to date with industry news, sharing important updates with your colleagues and clients.
• Live Bicycle’s values and encourage them in others; always moving forwards with our strategic objectives in mind. Enthusiastically input into wider agency projects to continually enhance our profile, productivity and culture. Act as an ambassador for Bicycle.
