Senior Social & Influencer Account Manager

Senior Social & Influencer Account Manager
Overall Purpose
At Bicycle Ripple, our first Account Manager will sit right at the centre of where creativity, culture and execution meet.
This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape the Social & Influencer function from the ground up, working closely with our Managing Partner to define ways of working, elevate our output, and drive continued growth across the department.
You’ll be the driving force behind social and influencer campaigns, ensuring everything lands on time, on budget, and to a standard that not only meets expectations, but genuinely excites our clients.
You’ll own your projects end-to-end, acting as the key point of contact internally and externally. Nothing goes live without your sign-off, and nothing slips through the cracks. You’ll bring structure, clarity and momentum, while also embracing the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of social and creator marketing.
Just as importantly, you’ll bring the right mindset: someone who is naturally curious, solutions-focused and energised by what’s next. We’re looking for someone who leans in, asks questions, and is excited by the chance to help build something, not just manage it.
Core Competencies for the role
Stakeholder Management
You’ll confidently manage multiple campaigns across social and influencer, balancing priorities, timelines and expectations with ease.
You’ll:
Be the day-to-day client lead, building strong, trusted relationships through clear, proactive communication
Translate briefs into actionable plans, ensuring internal teams are aligned and set up for success
Guide campaigns from briefing through to delivery, reporting and optimisation
Be detail-oriented and quality-driven, reviewing all work before it goes out and always thinking one step ahead
Keep clients informed and reassured at every stage, managing expectations with confidence and clarity
Create opportunities to add value, whether through strategic recommendations, cultural insights or new ways of working
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just manage projects, but takes ownership and genuinely cares about delivering great work.
Strategy & Thinking
Strategy isn’t a separate function here, it’s part of how you think every day.
You’ll:
Develop a strong understanding of your clients’ brands, audiences and business goals
Contribute to campaign and content strategies across social and influencer
Bring a point of view, whether that’s spotting trends, identifying opportunities, or challenging briefs constructively
Think beyond the immediate ask, connecting your work to broader brand and cultural moments
Curiosity is key. We want someone who is constantly learning, exploring and pushing their thinking, not just executing what’s been done before.
Technical & Channel Expertise
You’ll have a solid grounding in the social and influencer landscape, and an appetite to stay ahead of it.
You’ll:
Understand how social platforms, creators and content formats work together to drive impact
Be confident working with data, analysing performance, identifying insights and shaping recommendations
Support campaign optimisation through reporting and learnings
Stay up to date with platform developments, creator trends and emerging formats
You don’t need to know everything, but you should be someone who actively seeks to understand more.
Project & Financial Management
Strong organisation underpins everything you do.
You’ll:
Manage timelines, scopes and deliverables across multiple campaigns
Work closely with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth delivery
Support budget management, tracking spend and ensuring financial processes are followed
Keep internal stakeholders updated on project status, risks and opportunities
You’re someone who brings calm to complexity, structured, reliable and always in control.
People & Collaboration
Ripple is a collaborative environment and how you work with others really matters.
You’ll:
Support and guide junior team members, helping them build confidence and capability
Work closely with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, production, talent) to deliver integrated campaigns
Contribute positively to team culture, bringing energy, openness and a willingness to get stuck in
We’re not looking for hierarchy, we’re looking for people who are generous with their time, ideas and support.
Agency & Business Growth
We want people who are invested in building something, not just delivering the day job.
You’ll:
Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts or introduce new ways of working
Contribute to new business and agency initiatives where relevant
Share knowledge, insights and inspiration with the wider team
Approach & Attitude (What Really Matters)
This is as important as anything above.
We’re looking for someone who:
Brings a positive, solutions-first mindset, even when things get challenging
Is curious by nature, always asking questions, exploring ideas and looking to learn
Has strong organisational and communication skills, but uses them in a way that feels human and collaborative
Is a true team player, someone people enjoy working with, trust and rely on
Is excited by social, creators and culture and wants to be part of shaping what’s next
The work we do sits at the cutting edge of the media landscape. It moves fast, it evolves constantly, and it’s genuinely exciting. We want someone who feels that and brings that energy into the team and the work.
Skills & Experience Required
We’re less focused on ticking every box and more interested in finding someone with the right mindset, energy and potential to grow with us. That said, we’d expect you to bring:
4-5+ years’ experience in social media, influencer marketing or integrated agency account management
Strong experience managing multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously
Proven experience delivering social and/or influencer campaigns from briefing through to reporting
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail
Confidence managing client relationships and presenting work clearly and professionally
Experience working with creators, talent managers and production partners
Remuneration & Benefits:
